Biography

Miles is a cannabis specialist who has experience in all aspects of the cannabis industry – from cultivation, to processing, to running a medical dispensary. He has more than 15 years of experience in the industry and has operated successful medical marijuana farms and a collective in Seattle. Throughout his career Miles has worked in education and technology as well as horticulture. He has managed and trained staff as well as educated youth and adults in many disciplines. After earning his B.A. from The Evergreen State College with a dual focus on bilingual education and technology, Miles worked in the education field as a director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County for more than five years, where among his many accolades he was recognized nationally for a literacy program he created for K-12 students. Miles and a small group of partners subsequently fully launched a medical cannabis collective in 2011. He has now returned to his teaching roots and is focused on career education and training for professionals in the burgeoning cannabis industry.
